Welcome to The Royal Ranch.  Sadly, this page is coming to an end, as well as our part of The Royal Ranch.  Although it is a very challenging time in our lives, I can't help but wake-up each morning with a smile on my face knowing that we have done all that we can do and that we are moving on with pride in our hearts.  We have fought a tough battle, and we did not win the ranch, but we did win the war....in that we are still a happy, healthy (for the most part), thriving family unit that has found outh that NOTHING can keep us down.

We really appreciate you visiting our website, and all of the support we have been given over the years in all of our business endeavors.  Tom and I intend to stay in the area, as a matter of fact hopefully right up the road.  Our intentions are to start anew with The Double J Ranch that is agriculturally based since Judy can no longer do llama packing and we are selling The Royal Roost.  Judy is ecstatic about being able to finally expand her poultry and will be adding organic, heritage pigs as well in the Spring of 2012.

As you will read on this new, more condensed, getting ready to go off the web forever version of royalranch.net (and yes, I know it will be cached), we have been burned by being such public figures.  Burned by our bank through our modification process; and then on December 31st, 2011 our President signed a bill that could put American citizens in prison just on suspicion of terrorist activity.  Activity like calling your bloggers Rebels?  Activity like seed saving, or selling milk across state lines?  How about the types of things a person researches on their computers; can that be considred terrorist activity????  And my beautiful birds, don't get me started on them, in some states they are as bad as bombs...

I am the mother of four; I can't play these games.  Although I have VERY strong opinions against companies like Monsanto et al; I have to fight them a lot more privately and quietly.  I will not risk it hurting my family in any way.  PERIOD.  As we have always done, we will be doing some VERY LEGAL business, but it will be done person to person, word of mouth; get a hold of us if you are interested in some of the states best organic poultry or swine!

And may God BLESS The Royal Ranch in the hands of the government.  Just sayin'....
